ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP) — Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has appealed a judge’s ruling that the politician exceeded his authorization successful ordering schoolhouse boards not to enforce strict disguise requirements connected students to combat the dispersed of the coronavirus.
The governor’s lawyers took their lawsuit Thursday to the 1st District Court of Appeal successful Tallahassee.
DeSantis wants the appeals tribunal to reverse past week’s determination by Leon County Circuit Judge John C. Cooper, which fundamentally gave Florida’s 67 schoolhouse boards the powerfulness to enforce a pupil disguise mandate.
