Writing a press release can seem like a daunting task.

Writing a press release can seem like a daunting task.

There are so many factors to consider, including the language and tone of your message. You also have to think about what type of media you're targeting, whether or not it's automated or manual (if there even is one) and how long it should be. But don’t worry! We've got all those answers covered below:

  • Keywords: What keywords should I include in my headline and body? This varies depending on the kind of audience we're looking for our content toward; for example, if we're trying to build an email list of people interested in fashion then "best dressers" would probably make sense as a keyword phrase where as "best dresses" may not be necessary since everyone knows what “the best dresser” looks like!

  • Sample Press Release Template: Here's an example template from MailChimp that shows how simple this process can be when done correctly without any mistakes at all! You'll see how easy it is with their step-by-step guide below which includes everything needed up front before moving onto anything else (including images).

  • Make sure your words are easy to read. This is especially important when you're sending out multiple releases at once. Your reader will thank you for it!

  • Don't try to be clever or funny in your language—it won't come off well (unless it's intentional).

  • Don't use jargon unless absolutely necessary; everyone knows what "marketing" means but no one needs to know the details behind how many micro-organisms live inside your logo.
